Quietmaker started as somewhere to put things I didn't want to lose.

Since June 2021 I've been running a small stationery and lifestyle brand on Shopee Singapore. For the first two and a half years I ran it on the ground in Singapore. In December 2023 I moved to London, and have been managing it remotely ever since — entirely solo, across time zones, around everything else life requires.

Over those four years I built systems, made mistakes, watched channels die, and learned how platforms actually work versus how they say they work. Most of that knowledge lives in my head or in spreadsheets nobody else will ever see.

This site is an attempt to document it before it disappears. Not as a success story — the business is still figuring itself out — but as an honest record of what it costs to build something small with limited time, limited capital, and no team.

The tools here were built to solve real problems I ran into. The notes are what I wish I'd been able to read when I started.

If you're building something similar, some of this might be useful. If the business eventually winds down, at least this remains.
